A performance within Fer Forats, emerging from its writing processes in relation to La Rambla and its inhabitants
Rambla 14 - wandering fragments is a performance that translates the research of Fer Forats or Making Holes into a narrative and performative form.
The piece draws on writings, conversations, and archival material developed throughout the project, including fictionalised dialogues and testimonies shaped by the lived experience of La Rambla. Professional actors were invited to interpret these collectively produced texts, bringing the voices of the writing process into a staged and embodied form.
It traces the transformation of the neighbourhood and its inhabitants over time, reflecting on the gradual disappearance of residential life in a space increasingly defined by tourism and displacement.
Through voice and performative narration, the work stages fragments of these materials, bringing together different temporalities and perspectives into a shared space of listening. Rather than constructing a linear story, the performance assembles dispersed voices, allowing the Rambla to emerge as a layered and contested space.
The dramaturgy follows the theatrical score developed in the writing process, translating collective texts into an authored performative structure.
