A video installation exploring repetition, desire, and the circulation of sexual imagery through looping moving images
PornoLoops is a video-based work investigating the repetitive structures of desire embedded in pornographic imagery and audiovisual consumption.
Using looping sequences extracted and transformed through montage and repetition, the project approaches pornography less as explicit representation than as a visual system organised through rhythm, projection, anticipation, and endless circulation.
By isolating and repeating fragments of movement and gesture, the work exposes how desire becomes constructed through mechanical reproduction and temporal repetition.
Developed during the artist’s transition from analog filmmaking towards live audiovisual and installation practices, the project anticipates later investigations into mediated sexuality, emotional projection, and collective imaginaries.

These forms operate through accumulation and recurrence, transforming explicit imagery into rhythmic and affective visual structures.

It establishes thematic concerns that later reappear in works such as Trash Food Porn, Perra Perdida, and Oráculos de los Márgenes.
